With a heart full of resilience and a pen that transforms pain into purpose, Jennifer shares deeply personal stories and educational content on her blog. Having faced significant trauma since a young girl, she understands the complexities of mental health challenges firsthand. As a mother of two whom have unfortunately experienced trauma as well no matter how hard Jennifer tried to prevent anything from happening to them although death is a natural part of life, it is often traumatizing to the people they've left behind. She is passionate about helping families navigate substance use and mental health disorders. Living in the recovery capital of the world we see dual diagnosis treatment centers everywhere here. So, if you live outside of Florida, Jennifer would be the one to help you navigate your options before you put your loved one on a plane headed to sunny South Florida. Substance use and mental health disorders go hand in hand so you want to choose what will work best for your loved ones. Jennifer suffers from bipolar disorder II, comorbid anxiety (more than 1 type of anxiety), depression which she manages by seeing a psychiatrist, a therapist, medication management with all her doctors, gardening and writing. Jennifers' mission is to advocate for those in need, educate, inspire and connect with others.
