There's a certain kind of pain that comes just from struggling - but from reaching out for help and being met with silence, rejection, or judgement.
So many people who walk through addiction, mental illness, trauma, or identity struggles have one thing in common:they tried to reach out. They wanted support. They wanted to be understood. And too often, they were told - by family, friends, or even society - that they were "too much", "too broken", or just needed to "get it together".
But what happens when your cry for help is ignored?
What happens when your own family can't (or won't) won't accept who you are or what you're going through?
You go looking. Not always for the right thing - but anything that feels like a connection, even if it's a temporary relief. That's how so many people end up on the streets, in toxic relationships, numbing out with drugs or alcohol, not because they want that in life - but because they were first pushed out of the Life they wanted.
Let's be real: it's hard to heal in a world that makes you feel like a burden. But, I want you to know - you are not alone. Even if your blood family can't show up for you, there are people out here - strangers even - who will.
That's why I started this company. Because I know that feeling. I know what it's like to be dismissed, abandoned, or misunderstood. I know how it feels to sit in your pain and wonder if anyone would even noticed if you just disappeared.
But I also know this: we can build new roots.
You don't have to go down that street. And if you already have - if you've been there, lost in addiction, pain, toxic cycles - there's still a path back. It may not be the same one you started on, but it could still lead you somewhere beautiful.
Here, we believe in second chances - and third ones too. We believe healing happens in messy ways, and no one should have to do it alone. Through plants. community, and stories like yours and mine, we're creating something different. Something real.
Because even if your family couldn't accept you, we will. Even if the world made you feel disposable, you're not. And even if you feel like nobody understands, we do.
You're not too far gone. You're not too broken. You are still worthy of love, healing and peace.
Let's grow through this - together.
